saveBOARD betterBRACE External Bracing is a semi-permeable, cost effective alternative to traditional building underlays for use in residential to multi-story construction. Designed for use in Extra High wind zones and in specific engineering design projects exposed to high wind pressure. Finished with an external moisture resistant Fiberglass facing material; it is an alternative to traditional building underlays.
 
It allows builders the ability of close in a building sooner to begin interior fit out, along with additional noise and insulation properties. The fit out can be started independently of the exterior rain screen minimising potential delays to the project.

saveBOARD betterBRACE has been independently tested and certified for structural bracing applications. The product is suitable for use as an exterior bracing element in residential and commercial construction and has demonstrated excellent performance in high-wind environments. Independent testing has confirmed bracing capacities that compare favourably with traditional plywood, OSB and cement-based alternatives.

The product is supported by Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) documentation, VOC emissions testing, product warranty documentation and structural bracing certifications. betterBRACE forms part of saveBOARD's range of low-carbon building materials manufactured in Australia and New Zealand from locally sourced recycled packaging waste.
